Center of academic Ressources
It was founded in 2007, as in other French academic departments of Tunisian universities, witin the PREF-SUP project (Renovation Project in the Teaching of French and in French in the Higher Education, 2007-2010, financed by the Ministry of Higher Education and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Multimedia Resource Centre of the HIHSJ has two vocations: it offers students a francophone environment through an access to a variety of resources, and diversified information: language methods, utilities, dictionaries, cartoons, magazines, newspapers ... It also helps them improve their language skills by offering them, remedial work, team and individual language development courses (tutored self-training).
